Paid hourly if return to home terminal is in the same day (day is defined as any trip not requiring sleeper berth or off duty time (motel) to reset for a new shift and to stay within the Hours of Service Regulations)

Inspection (at Erb equipped facilities)
All drivers will be paid 15 minutes providing they have the proper stamp from the Inspection bay.
Loading Delays (prior to departure)
All drivers will be paid hourly for any loading delay on departure from the terminal providing they have a verified punch in time (punch clock) and have clearly marked it on their trip report and tach card.
Note: On route delays will be paid hourly providing the proper satellite message is sent.
Fuel
All drivers will be paid 15 minutes for fueling at terminals but must have it noted on their trip sheet or tach card as well as indicated when the end of day macro is sent.
Completion of Paperwork
Drivers are to use the US trip report booklets (three part NCR) and use one per trip. Information needs to be completed in full including postal codes on trip reports. Upon return to the terminal the trip report, tach card and log sheets must be turned in at the Canadian dispatch window. Drivers may keep the yellow or middle copy of the trip report for their records. Drivers will also receive a bi-weekly pay summary in their mailboxes.
Trucks still equipped with a tach card must complete all movements on the card including any meals or breaks taken.
Statutory Holidays - as per company policy
Driver Attendance
Drivers will continue to book any time off (vacation, personal days, etc…) through E.T.S.I. dispatchers.
Driver Overtime Policy
City Drivers - City motor vehicle operators as defined by Part III of the Canada and those who operate within the city boundaries as established by the Code (16 km radius of the home terminal) or extended boundaries as established by the Erb Group of Companies, will be paid overtime after nine hours per day or forty-five hours per week. Consistent with Part III of the Canada Labour Code and the “Motor Vehicle Operators Hours of Service Regulations”, the overtime rate for city motor vehicle operators and those who operate in the extended boundaries will be 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
Highway Drivers - Includes all driver groups except City Drivers
Overtime will be payable after fifty-five hours per week when performing work that is payable at a regular hourly rate.
Overtime is to be calculated as per the Erb Group of Companies over time policy.
